Coogee

With a patrolled beach, swimming baths and a promenade with barbeque areas and playgrounds, the seaside destination of Coogee is perfect for outdoor activities. Take the Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk, a 6km trail, for spectacular panoramas of the Pacific Ocean, replenish your energy at one of the delightful cafes or enjoy a delicious lunch and soak up the sun at a rooftop restaurant.

Be sure to visit the two grand ocean baths: Perched on a cliff face and rock platform and dating back to the late 19th century, Mc Ivers Baths are the last remaining women’s and children’s only pool in Australia. Just up the coast is Wylie’s Baths, established in 1907 by champion long distance and under water swimmer, Henry Alexander Wylie, and listed by the National Trust for their significance as one of Sydney’s first mixed-sex baths. Wylie’s baths are the perfect place for a refreshing swim or a relaxing massage on its decks.
